In Chinese medicine there are numerous gynaecological conditions. The most common include: menstrual disorders,Irregular periods, urinary tract infections (UTI) eating disorders and vaginitis,pregnancy sickness.
Dysmenorrhea is another gynecological problem in females, which is characterized by repeated and severe menstrual pain and cramps related to menstruation. There are two types of Dysmenorrhea and that is primary and secondary Dysmenorrhea. Some of the symptoms of this gynecological problem include pain in the lower abdomen, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fainting, lower back pain and other problems.

In case of endrometriosis the tissue from endometrium tends to grow outside the uterus. These uterine tissues thickens and breaks down as the level of hormones fluctuates. Since the entire process is carried on outside the uterus hence the tissues and the blood are entrapped within the abdomen. Tensions in the pelvic muscles may also result in the chronic pelvic pain. Prolong infection in the pelvic organs, presence of enlarged veins surrounding the ovaries and the uterus may often cause severe pain. Sometimes remnants of ovary present after the removal of ovary or uterus by surgery may cause pain.
Irritable bowel syndrome associated with constipation, bloating and diarrhea also lead to Chronic Pelvic Pain.
